  • Despite the perception that the administration portion of health care spending is excessive, Saskatchewan's spending on health care administration is among the lowest proportions in Canada. Since 1999 Saskatchewan has had the lowest proportion of administration costs to total costs in Canada.

  • In a comparison of SUN compensation rates to the Saskatchewan Consumer Price Index, the salaries of nurses have increased at a faster rate than the CPI since 1999.
  • Regional Health Authorities will be working with the Government of Saskatchewan to develop a 10 year capital plan for health care as reflected in the mandate letter to the Minister of Health.
